About Our Sauce
Uncle Willy’s “Alabama Style” Grillin’ & Dippin’ Sauce has been a family favorite for more than 30 years.
It’s based on traditional white barbecue sauce recipes from the foothills of the Southern Appalachian Mountains that use mayonnaise, vinegar, water and black pepper.
Our version combines these basic ingredients with the savory flavors of fresh red onion, minced garlic and other herbs and spices.
The result is a unique, satisfying flavor that is complex. It starts with a slight sweet note, then a mellowness from the onion and garlic in the middle, followed by a snappy pepper finish that’s not too hot, but just right. Like it says on the label, it's “Snappy, Not Sweet”.

Sauce is made in small batches to assure quality and consistency in every jar.
We like it best on chicken, especially thighs. Chicken thighs have a moist, tender texture that holds up well whether they are grilled or smoked.
Brush “Willy Sauce” on liberally about ten minutes before your chicken comes off the grill or, for a real treat, marinate the chicken in "Willy Sauce" overnight. Cook slowly over medium low heat, turn it often and don’t let your coals flame up! Your patience will be rewarded because you will have created “Heaven On A Bone.”
Uncle Willy’s “Alabama Style” Grillin’ & Dippin’ Sauce is also fantastic on grilled fish,
shrimp and scallops! Anytime you might think of using cocktail sauce or tartar sauce, try "Willy Sauce" instead. It will be a revelation! Try it as a vegetable dip with raw vegetables. The fact is, if you can put it in your mouth, it's better with Uncle Willy’s “Alabama Style” Grillin’ & Dippin’ Sauce!
